I actively make sure my computer does not have wasted running memory. So I am always closing processes down in system config. The problem is that when I close certain process and restart my computer They end up coming back and turning themselves on again. How do i stop these processes from starting up from my start up? The processes are :

Qttask/quicktime
Wcescomm/Microsoft activesync
ctfmon/ ????
Nvcpl/????

this time i really screwed up..i have to submit my project 2morow its around 150 pages , and my printer wont print! , i got it refilled its HP35550 deskjet series printer , now it wont print green i tried printing RED GREEN AND BLUE it prints blue , red but not green , i REALLY NEED HELP , how shud i fix this , plus the original cartridge is not available...zzzz

help me out :P , if the cartridge head is screwed up can i fix it somehow???

some time my computer's mouse stop working or do not response when i start system.i have repluged and cleaned mouse but of no vain. in control panel, in mouse properties, it shows no driver. after many time strarting system it works and shows mouse driver installed. what is the problem.how can i install a driver of mouse.

I run and operate a medium sized clothing store and I am going to start running my business online. I've been a PC user since 95, I am not too sure what kind of laptop to purchase.. I've heard excellent things about Sony Vaio and the new Mac Book (my budget is to spend no more than 2,000$) I love the mac books however I am not familiar with using Mac. I am self taught, a quick learner and I've heard macs are very user friendly. I've also heard with a mac you are protected against internet hackers but I don't know if that's true. I have been to Best Buy and Comp Usa and got the run around. Please help! I want something that can pick up wireless internet connection easily, runs fast and has a lot of memory for graphics. How do I use Chkdsk? I have already rebooted my system.

We have a HP Scanjet Model 3670. We are using Windows XP Professional. Recently, we have been asked our office building photograph by one of our superior offices for puting the same in their Website and we gave them a scanned photograph taken through our sacnner. But, they rejected the same and requested to send a HIGH RESOLUTION scan copy. Could you please clarify me how can I take a High Resolution scan copy through my existing scanner.

My laptop had a horrible incident and now it just doesn't work. I know the HDD is unharmed and I need that data. It was a compaq presario 2100, and now I have a Toshiba Satellite L35. The hard drives are not compatible with eachother. The presario has a EIDE and the Toshiba is a SATA type. What do i do? I can't save my files on the old laptop seeing how the old one is now dead.
