There's really not enough info for this, we don't even know what operating system you're using. If you're using Windows XP and you have a ps/2 or USB 2.0 mouse, there would be no need for a driver since it's plug 'n play. If you're using Windows 2000 or Windows 98 then I'd try to reinstall the driver for that particular mouse, but I really don't see a need for that even on those older operating systems, a mouse is a mouse for most of them and the standard plug n play should recognize them.
My guess is your mouse itself, they're $10 at your local store, or borrow someone else's mouse to see if the problem goes away.

It maybe cuz of your driver is not correct.
remove your old mouse driver or right click at Mycomputer >> in Hardware tab click devicemanager >> see Mice and other pointing devices >> and remove your mouse.
After that just restart your machine your computer can detect your mouse and automatic install your mouse driver. If it not found driver you can use your driver CD that come whit your mouse for install it.

try reinstalling the mouse driver. This is available with the mouse in a CD. You can also try to locate the driver on net.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
