Yep. It's called a screen shot, but you must have some place to put it when you take the screen shot. The best place is Word if you have it, or the word processing program in Works. You put it in Notepad, also. To take a screen shot, press CTRL and Print Screen, one of the buttons on your keyboard above the row that says Insert - Home - Page Up. Once you have pressed these two, open the word processing program to a blank page and click on Edit, then Paste. There's your desktop, and you can print it just like it is.
If you use Notepad, after you take the screen shot, click on start, programs, accessories, system tools and then Notepad.

Of course. Clicking the 'PrtSc' (Print Screen) button on your keyboard will copy the contents of the desktop (as you see it) in the computer's clipboard. Next, open either Word or PowerPoint, use CTRL+V to paste the image on the open page, and then use the PRINT command to print out the page. Hope this helps!!

Press the control & Print Screen key together and then paste it into Word or Ms paint or any doc/image editing program then print. Another way is to use a freeware screen capture program, like screenhunter

yes try "ashampoo's magical snap" you can take screenshots of anything pretty much and edit it as well. it sits at the side or top of the screen and you can use it at any time. it saves in png, jpeg or bmp. they do a free trial but it can be unlocked if you know where to look(i'm not suggesting you email me or anything(hint??) i use this program to take snapshots of the registry when i change the values so i can go back and reset them when i f**k up.
