I clicked the download button and the file downloaded to my desktop, but how do I get it onto my Ipod Video from there? I tried importing it into itunes and it didn't seem to work. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or should I simply take another direction?

I was just wondering if it is actually ILLEGAL to connect to some one else's insecure wireleness network. i.e. you dont need a pass word or anything?

Can the host acutally see your computer logging onto his/her network or it just says a user has logged on the network and nothing happens after wards?

Is there a way to configure Safari so that the bookmarks are visible on the left side continuously while browsing? Both Microsoft and Firefox have this. The bookmark bar on the top is not as useful, and when you "show all bookmarks" the web page is replaced by the links.

Right, ive made a website in Dreamweaver, but im not able to put words over my pictured background.

Why cant I do it in my Adobe Dreamweaver and is there any other program i can use that will let me???

I Have A Computer Steering Wheel That Has 15 Pins on It.
The Top Row of Pins Has 8 on Top.
The Bottom Row of Pins has 7 on Bottom.

Well, I Have No Plugs on My Computer or Laptop that Support That, And I'm Not Sure of An Adapter, or Anything that Will Allow Me To Use It.

Someone gave me a free laptop. The hard drive, mgz, and ram are fine but the monitor is crappy. It is a VGA 16 bit color monitor. I need atleast 256 colors. If I install a better graphics card will this solve my problem?

ok, i have an Asus P5N-E SLI mobo and i just upgraded my memory from 1gb corsair 667mhz to a 2gb curcial ballistix 800mhz. since i ahve upgraded it, the first time i started my pc up everything thing a little bit slower? i expected it to be slightly faster and also my pc have just randomly restarted by itself. im not sure whats happening here. would i just have to give my system some time to get use to the new memory and restart it myself a few times??? wats happening??

I have a Compaq Presario V6500 series, it has an internal wireless card of some sort (not pcmcia). I need to boost the reception to reach a neighbor's router, it sort of works sometimes with my Sony Vaio S460 but the Compaq has weaker reception. And yes, I've talked to my neighbor - they said it would be okay, I tried to get a cable/dsl line but cannot get service at the moment because this is a new area.

Can I buy a router and hook it up to my laptop, would it work as an antenna/signal booster? Or is there some kind of external antenna I can buy for an internal laptop wifi card? Any solution will be gladly recieved, I would buy internet but can't :( and I am desperate.

It's blocked access to my mail. Keepssaying sorry must close. I had it for months and no problems. My Norton needs renewal, package on the way. I tried another chat forum and it went beserk.
We checked on the Mac they said problems happening. Then I read CHina & computer problems coming? Off subject yet I am so frustrated.
Multiply I tried Webfetti and got some spyware issues? Does any of this make sense??? I'm off of Opera now. Looking for 9x if you know how also add info.
Any heads up why networks are battleing or is it just me? I am not good on the computer but BF is and he's baffled. Thanks for any insight. We are moving would Bright House help vs. wireless netgear system? WIFI?

I have an Intel pentium 4 processor(socket 775,3.0GHZ),2x1 GB Kingston DDRAM(400 Mhz, pc 3200) and a graphic card(Nvidia Gforce 8500GT -1024MB memory).Is there a motherboard that can use all of these hardware? I really don't want to buy other DDRAM 2, if i can manage somehow and use my old 2x1 GB DDRAM memory...what is the best way to deal with this problem?

OK so I bought a Gateway laptop with my graduation money on bestbuy.com and recieved it in June, in September the hard drive went out and I took it to the geek squad at the local best buy, they fixed it but about three weeks ago the hard drive went out again and best buy had to send it to gateway to be fixed( because they thought it was the motherboard) so anyway gateway has had my computer this whole time and i still havent got it back yet, I have complained to gateway about the product because this is the second time this happened and i think they should send me a new coputer since i havent even had this one for a year but they wont send me one and basically arent backing up their warranty.

what should i do? i'm a college student and cant afford to buy a new computer or have this kind of stuff keep happening. BTW, i am using someone else's desktop to ask this question so no stupid answers like "how are you asking this question when you don't have your computer?"

Iam writing a book and use google earth to view the towns where things take place in that book, and I have no idea how to find out what certain buildings are.

Is that building a school? An office? A hotel? whats that building called....

Is there a feature or a way to know? Even just the addresses of buildings would help a LOAD.
