I am getting ready to sell my computer on ebay so I want all my information to be completely erased. Is there anyway to do this because I know files are always kept hidden somewhere even if you delete them out of Add/Remove Programs?

Multiple formatting operations will, eventually, remove all files to the point where they should be unrecoverable.

But, before doing this, you better be sure you have the operating system disk available. It would be difficult to sell the computer without an operating system. For SOME buyers, it wouldn't be a problem, but most people want to buy a computer they just have to plug in and use.
