Right, ive made a website in Dreamweaver, but im not able to put words over my pictured background.

Why cant I do it in my Adobe Dreamweaver and is there any other program i can use that will let me???

but yeah.. is there a way i can put wording over a picture..??

Hmmm, well part of the problem is that your image is in as a regular image and not as a background.

So if you want words over an image, make it a real background image (although you've got another image there that you are already using for the background, plus getting it located properly would be a problem) and then you can put whatever you want in your page.

OR
make a table cell that is the same size as your image and put the image as the cell's background. Then you can center the table.

OR
learn CSS, which is maybe more than you want to bite off right now, but it does allow layering of objects through "z-order".

Whatever you do, test your site first to make sure it works though. Try using browsershots dot org.Fantastic for testing your sites.

Put the picture into Paint, add words, resave it and upload altered image.
