Unneccesary Programs are what they're called. Safely deletable. If you use Windows & have administrator type priveliges & delete\uninstall a program in the ADD|REMOVE section it's gone. For anyone to use it you'll have to reinstall it. Those KB-this-&-thats are Microsoft Updates, they take up a lot of room & the Security ones are not safe to delete. I wouldn't chance being without them. You have to look at all the programs & decide. If you found one somewhere on your own & it has nothing to do with the basic operation of your PC it should be OK to uninstall, but check it out 1st.

In the "Add/Remove Programs" box, anything you personally have added you can remove. But don't touch any programs involving Windows or it will probably crash your PC. It will remove them from the PC forever. It will effect any other user because you have removed programs from the computer.

Depends on what you are removing. If you uninstall windows media player for example, you wont be able to use that, but it wont hurt the computer.

Yes it will affect other users.
