I have a PC with Windows Vista basic on and since I installed Norton security it is running unbelievably slow! It takes really long to load up and when I click on something it takes ages to do anything! What could be wrong with it and how could I improve it? My internet is also connected by 2 extension leads to connect the modem to my phone line- could this also be a problem? Any ideas would be great, thank you!

I have a HP laserjet printer 4250N and I have the usb cord plugged into the printer and computer. I have even downloaded the driver from the HP website, however, I do not know what to do now that the driver is saved onto my desktop. Please help!

I want to replace my WIn 98 SE with XP but after installation the system does not boot. it says Windows is starting up or Applying computer settings. i have PIII 500 MHZ processoer with 384 MB Ram and 28 gB hard drive. What actually is the problem. Has the motherboard got to do something with it. Kindly advice.

It's an Acer Aspire 3680. I took off the small machine screws on the back, and the top case sort of could be cracked open. I didn't force it open further. Replacement keyboards are about 35 bucks and they have a ribbon connector. I figure it can't be that difficult to remove in order to clean it out with some electronic parts cleaner, but I can't figure out how to remove the keyboard.

I heard that having quicktime and windows media installed on the same computer will cause problems to your computer, that they both fight for control of your computer. I had to remove quicktime from my computer so windows media will work properly. Why does this occur? and how can I fix this so I can reinstall quicktime on my computer
which is a hp 64 processor with 1.0GB and windows xp and have it run with windows media.

k so i need some sort of software that can make any click double or tripple-i know it sounds stupid but my mate needs it for some game. basically what he wants a single click on his mouse to be a double click on his computer... just name a program-doesnt matter if its free or he needs to pay for it....

is there a problem right now Oct 23rd with yahoo games applet not loading...if so is there anything i can do?? Java(TM)6 update 3 is on my acer 5100 laptop. The proper boxes in int. options are checked and up to a couple days ago i was able to play pool, cards games etc...nothing has really changed. They can't be read by any receiver. When I convert one to a RTD it corrupts and loses formatting - margins and pages askew etc. I tried converting online to an Adobe PDF but Adobe doesnt recognize Works either. I was going to try to zip it somehow - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The documents are mostly text with some clipart and pictures. Thanks
