This is a pretty interesting question. I would think that anybody that would ask about Internet Information Server should know this answer right away.

I don't think it is Microsoft idea to have a web server, or web services running from a Home version of an OS. Regardless, you're lucky that it can be done. It is not installed by default, and you can install it following Microsoft's instructions.

Go to Microsoft's website and compare all versions of Vista.
