In my dsl service's page in the phone book it says they offer
up/down monthly
256/128 39.95$
512/256 49.95$
768/512 59.95$

i am paying for the 256/128 one. they like to call their service "Xtreme DSL" in the phone book. but there is nothing "Xtreme" about it i only download at 50 kb/sec. unless the 256/128 is in kbps. and if they mean 256 kbps and 128 kbps u gotta divide it by 8 to get kb/sec. when i divide 256 kbps by 8 i get 32 kb/sec which doesnt make sense cuz im getting 50 kb/sec so they must mean 256 kb/sec 128 kb/sec download and upload correct? well how come i am not getting this speed when i download files??? and i download from lots of diff sites and i never once have gotten more than 50 kb/sec on a download ever. i need to know what do, should i complain? tell me please.

If you buy Windows XP, can you load it on more than one computer??? And also, does anyone have Windows Vista?? Do you like it?? Do you recommend it?? Thanks for the input!!

It has taken my son 11 months to save $400. He's looking at eMachines from Best Buy. He's only 12. He doesn't need much. I'm nervous going outside of retail because my son will lose warranty options. One person I spoke to on craigslist says eMachines are garbage and the motherboards go out on them easy and that we should buy his. That person is selling his computer on Craigslist. We don't know what to do. Craigslist or Best Buy?

I think I have asked this question before, but I really need help. I am not trying to PRINT, I am trying to copy the screen, and code it so I can post it on my website. My print screen key has always worked, but now it won't do anything. Could someone tell me what I need to do with it?

I'm playing Halo2 or surfing the web or whatever and then the internet will cut out on me. It is getting super frustrating. At first I thought, and maybe it still is, the CPU in the router getting overheated(I had the DSL/modem/ethernet box placed on top of my router, and it tended to get hot). However, it is starting to seem like something else as I've placed the router and DSL modem off of each other. I've check the cables they're all plugged in. Everything seems fine.

Sometimes I will have just turned the internet on and suddenly it won't work. Sometimes all the lights will be on on my modem but the activity light won't light up when I click on internet or turn on my XBOX, and thus I won't be able to go online. Any helpful ideas or info?

Ok i cant decide which video card to get. I am looking at getting a sapphire hd 2600xt or a sapphire 1950pro. Everytime it rains or storms just a little bit, my internet does not work. When I try to navigate the web during a storm; I get "page cannot be displayed" on the browser and my DSL light goes out on my Speedstream router. We have contacted our ISP, Windstream, about this but they say there is something wrong with our end. Does anyone else have this problem? What do you guys think??

I want to make flash videos but I don't want macromedia flash 8 because it has way to many features, I tried the trial, its a good program but its overpriced and i didnt even use about 80% of its features.
