I think I have asked this question before, but I really need help. I am not trying to PRINT, I am trying to copy the screen, and code it so I can post it on my website. My print screen key has always worked, but now it won't do anything. Could someone tell me what I need to do with it?

After you've pressed the Print Screen key to capture the image, open up a graphics editing program (such as Paint) and paste the image into the program's working area.

Then you can save the image and alter it however you need to (crop, change format, etc.).

You have 2 Options:

1. To create a screen dump of the whole display press the "Print Scrn"
button on your keyboard.
2. To create a screen dump of the active window hold down the "alt" button
then select "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard.

Once you have captured the image of your choice, it will be available for
you to paste from the clipboard into the image package of your choice.

The printscn key on your keyboard takes a snap shot of your desktop and copies it to the CLIPBOARD...which you can paste into any program. It doesn't make a FILE if that is what you are asking.
