How do I get it so that when the user clicks out of the web browser, the php session is destroyed? When the user logs in the session is created, however when they exit the browser, the session remains although I want it to end.

I bought a new keyboard and mouse for my Dell 4600 desktop. The new equipment both have USB connections. What is the name of the adapter I need to buy to convert to the other connector (sorry, don't know the name- it's the round one, color-coded, connects to the back of the processor).

are either of them an unmonitored, filesharing tool like Limewire?

and if it is, would people who download from it be more susceptible to VIRUSES, ID theft, and etc? (aren't you vulnerable to those things when you use Limewire?)

i'm getting kinda frustrated and every time i download a cd burning software it never works and i just get very frustrated and i don't know what to do. plus, i try and burn from itunes and THAT dosen't work. maybe it's because of my cd? it's a TDK cd-r 52x 80 minutes 700 mb and it's a compact disc recordable. please, help me! thanks so much if you help me on this.

my computer and installed AVG antivirus and kept with my Windows Firewall and various antispyware. I have noticed when I have to open an email attachment that it still says Norton on the box that I have to click on to download, it has confused me as to how it can do this as I uninstalled it? Does anyone have any ideas I would be pleased to here from you?

bough a new computer 2 weeks ago. The first time we took the "picture card" out of the digital camera and put it into the slot for it on the computer tower, the monitor immediately displayed a list of pictures form the card for us to wiew.
Yesterday, put card in slot to see new pictures, and nothing happened.
Is something wrong, or do we need to open a program or something. I'm not too computer literate. Thank you for your help.

Sometimes when I turn my Dell laptop on, the Dell screen shows with a loading bar. Then, instead of loading Windows XP, it shows me a blank screen (usually with a blinking white cursor at the top which usually also goes away after a few seconds). Hitting ctrl+alt+del restarts the whole thing over, and most of the time the OS still fails to load. Sometimes I have to completely turn the computer off 3 or 4 times to get the OS to load. Why does this happen?

I have had a ton of problems with my Vaio laptop. I am considering a Mac. I basically just use the internet, my classes are online also, write papers, listen to music and store photos on my computer. Should I choose a Mac or a PC? I was debating between a Dell or an iMac probably.

I am trying to install xp on my macbook. using bootcamp
I am getting error,
when making partition
"Verification failed. This disk could not be partitioned.
Use Disk Utility to repair this disk."
when I try to use disk utlity to make partition
I see there
"this disk contains the startup volume and can't be partitioned."

please please help me install xp on my macbook permanently, I want both mac os x & xp on it

Help I have a nasty trojan virus and dont know how to get rid of it. I dont know the ecaxt name of it I know it has something to do with TROJAN! I have disconnected my computer from the internet. I have downloaded anti-virus programs and restarted the computer in safe mode to get rid of the virus but it doesnt seem to be working. Two questions, how long does it take to remove it completely, do I need to insert a uncontaminated disk and try to use that instead????

i had a TV card which used to work very fine. but lately (after a lot of updates on regular basis) the drivers of the TV card dont get installed. i have tried updating software and all sorts of measures but i have been unsuccessful in loading the driver. the manufacturers are some chinese guys and their site is not at all responsive. please help.

I remember my first modem used to be FAX-MODEM(!) I was never able to use this function because I guess I have to inform my phone provider for this but hey is there a web site or a program that I can send a document to a real fax machine?
