I have had a ton of problems with my Vaio laptop. I am considering a Mac. I basically just use the internet, my classes are online also, write papers, listen to music and store photos on my computer. Should I choose a Mac or a PC? I was debating between a Dell or an iMac probably.

Spend the extra money and buy a Mac. They're more user friendly, their customer support is better and the overall design is better IMO. You can also easily set it up (or have it set up) to run Windows if you need to!

an imac. its easy 2 use and it does not get vireses or other bad stuff pc's are plagued with. a mac can do all that stuff right out of the box with no need to download software. get a mac

From the uses you listed, a Mac would be better suited for your puposes.

But if you do decide to go PC don't go Dell, try HP/Compaq or Toshiba.

That's really a personal choice. Either computer will serve your needs and both have drawbacks. If budget is an issue I'd go with a PC.

DEAR! YOU NEED A PC, IT IS CHEEP THEN LAPTOP. AND HAVE MORE USEFUL THEN LAPTOP. YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE DELL. BECAUSE DELL IS WORKING ALL AROUND THE WORLD BUT THE IMAC MOSTLY USED IN USA AND EUROP. WITH DELL YOU CAN DISCUSS YOUR PROBLEMS OF HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE EASILY ON THE NET.
I AM RUNNING MY PC/LAPTOP SALES AND SERIVE BUSINESS SINCE 1998. I ALWAYS KEEP BEST DELL.
GOOD BYE.
