There is no sound from the speakers like during a normal boot-up. I had already removed and reinstall the graphic card. There is no signal going to the monitor also.I do not know what else I can do. Can someone give me some advise please? I really would appreciate your help.

I thought windows xp would be really cool in my computer and all that as I saw how different it was.... but I forgot to check the compatibility and all that jazz before putting it in and now my computer is realllllllly sloooooowwww... how can I take out windows xp and put in windows 98?


Also, WindowXP is not displayed in the Add/Remove program files

When I press the "on" button on my Dell computer, the computer starts. But during the startup, it tends to stop functioning or pause in the "Welcome" screen. Sometimes, I have to wait for more than 10 minutes for it to enter the desktop. I'm not sure whether it hangs or have a very long pause in the "Welcome" screen. At times, I even tried pressing the "Ctrl-Alt-Del" button several times in the "Welcome" screen, but that attempt failed miserably. Nothing actually happened. And also, I've installed Microsoft BootVis and optimized my system boot with that application. But now, this problem came back. So, please help me to solve this problem. Please, help me, please.

I am buying a new home in suburban IL, and after long consideration, I have decided to go with AT&T DSL internet for $35 (up to 6 mbps) and then I was thinking about getting Vonage, but I have heard that DSL and Vonage don't work through out my whole home, only through the two phone jacks provided in the router. To get the phone connection through out my whole home, I would need Cable Internet. Is this true?

I have a IBM laptop that has a blank screen when I boot it. External video looks fine.

The LCD panel looks intact.

I'm thinking the issue is a bad inverter. Anything else you peeps can think to check? A inverter is a cheap fix if it's the problem. I can pick one up cheap on ebay, so if it's worth a shot I'll go that way first.

I am unable to make a perfect PDF file from a Word file which has Hindi Unicode text. I have got pdf 995 and Smart Converter PDF but both of these softwares have failed to produce a good PDF file and the created PDF file has spaces in characters which are not there in the Word files. Moreover, some of the words ride the other words. Quite surprisingly, I always encounter this problem while making the PDF file of a Word File which has Hindi Unicode text. I don't face this problem while making the PDF file of a Word file which is typed in a True Type Font.

I've downloaded a few different trial versions and they only do 5 minutes. Are there trials that do all of it but only work for a few days or something or maybe at;east 26 conversions? Any help is great help. Thanks.
