It is some one trying to sell you software. go to Micro soft site and down load security pack2 and install it you won't see that again.

Go ahead and set it up. It is warning you that you do not have a fire wall or maybe a virus program running to protect your computer.
Or
Get zone alarm security suite (I think is the best out there) or some other brand that cost more and is not as good.

XP expects your PC to have 3 components - a sys antivirus checker, firewall, and auto updates enabled.
Sys AVs are not provided by MS - you can either pay for one or get a free download.
Auto Updates & Firewall come with XP sp2. My reccomendation is to use a third-party Firewall.

windows security icon?
click on start /run type in the box
msconfig
click ok
click on startup
look for secutity .center ,unitck the box
then click on services tab look in the list for
secutity .center
untick the box
click on
apply & ok
restart the pc
