I am unable to make a perfect PDF file from a Word file which has Hindi Unicode text. I have got pdf 995 and Smart Converter PDF but both of these softwares have failed to produce a good PDF file and the created PDF file has spaces in characters which are not there in the Word files. Moreover, some of the words ride the other words. Quite surprisingly, I always encounter this problem while making the PDF file of a Word File which has Hindi Unicode text. I don't face this problem while making the PDF file of a Word file which is typed in a True Type Font.

instead of using the 995 or smart converter software, try saving the file as a pdf directly from word. go file: print and then click the little button that says "save as pdf"

maybe that will work, i don't know.

another thing i'd try (you may have to go to kinko's for this if you don't have the software) is copy-pasting it into like an adobe indesign page and then saving that as a pdf. ??? good luck.

One other way is to save it as a JPG file and the convert it. Maybe print and scan and save as a jpg file and convert it to PDF. We do our prints at work that way when it will not convert from an odd ball cad file.

I to have had problems converting from PDF to Word and the other way around. But have not tried in a coupe of years.

Good luck
