The driver that came with the tower doesnt burn dvd's, so i bought one that does but i dont know how to put it into the tower without blowing the tower up.

i just bought a computer and i wanna to know more about it.
it has 300 GB hard drive, 1 MB memory and 3.4 GH.
i know about the 300 GB hard drive, its the size of the storage. that means i can store 300 movies if each movie is 1GB long.

i know about 3.4 GH, its the clock speed of the computer.
but i dont know about the 1MB memory.
can anybody explain to me what is the 1MB memory means?

It's the "Micro Email" lottery in Great Britain, and it wants me to email an address it gives and wants me to supply some seemingly-harmless data about myself. Anybody heard of this? Why would they do it? When will they ask me for money? Should I reply?

Ive got a fairly decent pc, 2.8 mghz,140 gig hard drive space,512 mb ram ( am planning to add at least another 512 next weekend). Ive got an ATI Raedeon graphics card, the 9200. I want a decent upgrade, one that will allow me to play most of the newest games on the market, and to be able to cope with 3d design packages like Maya and Autocad. Any recomendations? please only comment if u know what ur talking about. Also, im using DDR ram, but ive noticed that there are quite a few differents types of ddr ram, whats the difference and which is the best?

Hello, I have a home network with 3 computers. 2 computers need to connect to a pptp vpn at one destination and the third computer needs to connect to another location. vpn connection sharing only allows the first 2 computers to connect to the first destination and third computer cannot connect to its vpn connection. I use Virtual Drive to put all my family's games on the harddrive so they don't have to put a CD in every time they want to play a game. However, I think it's about time to set up another User Account for my 5-year old (she already knows what she's doing on the PC - scary!!) and want to make things as easy as possible for her. I could put her game icons on the desktop, but you'd still need to load a VCD before you clicked on the game icon anyway.

Having blabbered about all that now, my question is, can Windows XP record and playback macros and if so, easily and how? If not, is there any third-party software that would make it easy to do this, and possibly save a macro as an icon for the desktop so all she'd have to do is click on the icon, it would love the VCD, and then start her game automatically for her?
