Couple of questions about VBScripting... first, I have a script that performs a server hardware inventory; currently I have an input box prompt for the user to provide servername and the script runs fine. But when I go to compile it, I get errors "declaration expected." How can I build the prompt for the servername variable into the compiled script?

-Second: how to create a single script that calls three or four other scripts?

I'm pretty much a newbie to VBScripting and I'm learning on the fly so please forgive anything I've called by the wrong name, etc. I will be glad to post snips of my scripts if that helps. Most of them came straight from the Microsoft scripting center! :)

I´m coming back from 2 weeks of vacation tomorrow and am not looking forward to dealing with my inbox at work. I am sure I will have easily between 500-800 pieces of email that all have to be read. What is a good strategy for dealing with all the emails? Start reading by sender, by subject, by date sent, something else?
I would love to just delete all, but that won't work.
Appreciate your suggestions.

My school had a power cut and the generators didn't kick in so my entire schools power was down...got home and tried to access some coursework through an easylink via the website to my area on the school network, and it doesn't work. Wondering if that powercut affected the network even though it's back up now?

I'd bought a new hard-drive for my laptop, just today.

When I did the partition, I could see 2 different partition, so I deleted one & had ONLY ONE partition of my hard drive (i.e. C drive showing the entire 40GB).

After that, I formatted the hard-drive & then installed the Windows XP. However, now when I reached the desktop, I can see TWO different drives i.e. "C" and "D" (I've one more i.e. "E", which is just my DVD-ROM drive).

Now, C=20GB & D=20GB. Is there a way, I could delete the "D" drive & have its 20GB transferred to "C" & have ONLY "C" drive as my ONLY hard-drive (rather than C AND D, at the moment), esp. without having to format & reinstall everything once again ???

I'm tring to make a game in flash with no experience or knowledge of actionscript. I need to know how:

1 stop a certain frame not all of them

2 move in all directions

3 use a point and click method of moving a symbol across the screen.

4 get another symbol to follow you

5 make the other symbol shoot you

6 double click (if possible) to shoot at an area as the bullet goes on forever.

7 pick up different weapons

8 drop bombs with a timer and explsion takes health away

9 health bar goes down certain amont on each shot

Makes sounds appear in certain cercumstances like shooting.

I'm making a game where you have to beat up this person but when he gets mad he trys to kill you. Any more actionscript would be appreciated

I would like to learn how to design web sites but my local Ad Ed college does not run a course on this anymore. I have Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, GoLive, ImageReady and InDesign on my PC. I think someone may be leeching off our wireless DSL router - or maybe something more devious - I am not sure

I wouldn't care if someone was just borrowing bandwidth but since this is a work computer I think it would be best to boot them off the network
