My school had a power cut and the generators didn't kick in so my entire schools power was down...got home and tried to access some coursework through an easylink via the website to my area on the school network, and it doesn't work. Wondering if that powercut affected the network even though it's back up now?

It may very well be that the particular part of your schools network that you are trying to access, is not back up and running yet.... contact the Admin/Tech Support for that particular system... Or maybe the link to that system needs some attention.... Report it and the Admin boys will sort it out :-)

not sure if when you say home you mean a dorm. what i told you to do will only help if you are on the schools network not just trying to access a website for school. if that is the case and that is the only website you are having trouble with then it is something that is still wrong on your schools end not yours.
hope that helps
