I have a DVD of a play that I was in and I would like to make my friend a copy of it. I have a macosx with imovie, quick time player, and idvd. I need to know how do I make a copy of it using these programs. Also, it needs to be good quality please tell me if you know anything!!!

Whenever I close a window the following message appears:
"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." It sucks, because if I was in the middle of something it closes eveything down. I can not download anything, that has to open in another window. please help

I get a message that says "failed to load" on the player.

One of my computers it won't load on. The other it will. Songs load fine on my friends computer. Security settings and firewalls are the same on both my computers. Flash versions are the same and have the same settings. I updated through Adobe for the newer Adobe Flash version, but that didn't fix the problem. "Help" through the Adobe site and myspace.com do not have anything to address my problem. Everything worked just fine the other day. I haven't installed any new programs, or changed any computer settings. It's nothing to do with myspace code, because my song still plays on everyone else's computers, and nobody's songs will play on mine. What's my problem? PLEASE HELP!!!

The FAQ Visiontek included says to change the IRQ by going into BIOS and giving it IRQ 10 or 11, it is now at 16. However, I can't access BIOS by holding down F8 and changing it that way. Nor can I change the IRQ via Windows device management, due to the card not using resources and its non-functionality. I have no idea what to do now.

I am running my first marathon in Dublin, Ireland soon and love my mp3 player. It gets charged by plugging into a computer via my USB port. I really don't want to have to drag my laptop there, to potentially get stolen, since I just got it 2 months ago. I was hoping to bring the mp3, its cord, then plug into a computer at the hotel, just to charge it up the day before the race. Anybody know? Thank you very much...running without music would be absolutely horrible...especially that far (we are slow runners, so we will take every second of the 8 hours given!).

Mine and my wifes video cards both got fried on the same surge in the same night. Both of our cards were on surge protectors and on both computers, only the cards got fried. Why did this happen and what can I do to protect my video cards from this happening again?

So I've had my computer running through a home stereo so that i can have the best sound for music and movies. Recently my home stereo (which is quite old) has been going out on me. As a solution i went to radioshack and bought wires that will go directly from the computer to the speakers (bypassing the cd player). Now with the volume MAXED OUT i can bearly even hear a thing. I know it's hooked up right because i hear the song it's just very very low. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you in advance for any advice! :)

some body please help me with adobe photoshop cs2. how do i make a specific picture a layer and how do i add it to another specific layer (background i guess)? i have read the help files that came with the software and i purchased photoshop cs2 for dummies. i am completely new to photoshop and cannot find anywhere in any tutorials or help files EXACTLY how i assign a file as a layer that can be put together with another. maybe im stupid or illitterate but it's so aggravating to pay that much for a software i can't barely use. anyways if someone could explain to me as simply as possible i would be so thankful

(I know it's not working.)

I have emailed them a few times about the errors on my site but they won't answer back. And it's pissing me off. So maybe you can help?


1. It won't let me regular-comment anyone. The box is there, but the "I" thing (I forgot what it is called, besides cursor.) isn't showing up, so I cannot comment anyone!!

When referring to layer 2 (bridges, switches, etc..) and layer 3 (routers) devices, what is the difference between MAC and IP adressing? Because i have read that a layer 2 device decides to forward the frame depeding on the destination MAC adressed, but layer 3 depends on the IP adress. Can you please tell me the difference and what the signifigance is? Thanks for any help
