I am running my first marathon in Dublin, Ireland soon and love my mp3 player. It gets charged by plugging into a computer via my USB port. I really don't want to have to drag my laptop there, to potentially get stolen, since I just got it 2 months ago. I was hoping to bring the mp3, its cord, then plug into a computer at the hotel, just to charge it up the day before the race. Anybody know? Thank you very much...running without music would be absolutely horrible...especially that far (we are slow runners, so we will take every second of the 8 hours given!).

Don't know you'll need to sneak a peak under their kilts, oh wait that's a Scot...

Yes a USB port is a USB port. It is a standard and not country specific. I would look into an AC adapter however or even an AC/DC one as it would make more sense than searching for a USB port to borrow.

Ah to be sure misus, we've got te same usb ports here in Ireland; i tink. Your laptop wont get stolen so bring it along, but on the other hand it wont work cause we've got the 240 volts and i tink yours be 110 v . You'll get a grand welcome in Ireland so you will.
To be sure i'm writing tis slowly in case you have difficulty understanding what i'm saying
Good luck in the race
