everytime i log into friendster It returns me to the homepage. friendster.com. I can't even make a new account because it always tells me I put in the wrong verification code. I can't send them an email asking for help because i can't log in. has anyone had this problem? I've cleared the cache and cookies turned off all pop up blockers and firewalls and installed a different version of IE. please help.

error: application was unable to contact the sanDisk content server. Please check your internet connection to make sure a firewall or proxy is not preventing the device frome connecting to the content server. I have cable internet and turned off my firewall and it still did not work. Anyone know what I should or can do ?

I am now living in my dorm and my internet connection using the LAN cable usually works, but why now when I plug my cat5e cable to my computer it keeps on saying "aquiring network address"? What am I suppose to do with this? I cant connect to the internet??
Please help me to solve this problem... It just went like this yesterday.. I also have tried to turn off the firewall but it still wont work.

I am doing some early research on laptops. I am thinking on buying a new laptop within the next year. I have narrow my selection to 3 options:

Dell Inspiron
HP Pavilon
Apple Mac

I am attending Baylor University. Most of my classmate have a mac. Are macs really worth it? I know macs are better with viruses. I am not a gamer; however, I do like to use picture tools for editing. I do not want to spend more than 2K in my new laptop. Will an IBM better with the new Windows Vista? What software will I need for the mac besides the Office software? Overall, what is better for a college guy an IBC or a Mac?

I don't want to have to lug my laptop soley to charge the mp3 player! There is no other way to charge it except via USB port. I hope to plug it into a hotel computer overnight before my marathon. I need music cause I will be running HOURS.
