(Diagnostics) "ipod mini" + "itunes"

ipod Connection Staus Failed. ipod stuck/frozen. Apple Icon on screen. I tried to recharge it lastnight, seemed like that worked. But this morning I tried agian still did not work and the ipod would not show on My Computer or itunes. I just installed itunes 7.0 on My computer. Also I had just bought a new ipod Video 60GB with the new (itunes player) software on the inside of the box.

Somehow I got on AOL and thought I was upgrading my AIM instant messenger. Somehow I deleted the AIM Instant Messenger. Now I can't get my AIM messenger back. I tried removing AOL and the computer tells me I do not have any versions of AOL installed. But I cannot get my AIM messenger back except thru AOL and I understand that they will bill me eventually for their services. I have tried downloading the AIM messenger but it always asks for a screen name and password. I do not remember the original screen name and password and to get AOL to give you the password it looks like I would have to go to AOL as my internet provider. I have a Dell computer--Windows XP. I am 79 years old and really do not understand what is going on as I only use the computer for playing Literati and emails. Please won't someone help me? If you have an email address for AOL, please send it so that I can notify them that I do not want their internet service. Thanks so much. hcooper547@hotmail.com

hi . you have a new pc .and a old pc.

you want to send your software installer files over to the new pc so you put the installer files in there own folders' and name them .& you want to send all you music files& photos .as well
you have a router the 2 computers. are link to the router or by wireless network .what ever way. then you login on the old pc.a yahoo id then you login on yahoo again . with another id on the new pc .so you have online pc 1 . with yahoo id online . pc 2 with yahoo id online . then you add to friends list .then you pm from pc.1 id to pc 2 id .with yahoo messenger. then you click on the icon in the pm window . send file so you start the transfer of the files. now coz you are on your own network . the file transfer .will be verry fast. then when its all done. you just reinstall the software from the software installers.you sent to to the new pc .does this save you cash ?

I run a small, service oriented, firm. I bought this Computer recently and I'm not too good in it. I need your suggestion on what programme would be best for small business accounting. I don't need to keep big financial accounts. I only need an entry book programme where I can put my Cients' names, details, job details, payment details, etc. So that I can locate all the details for any client easily.
If you know of such softwares please tell me. If you know of any site where from I can download Trial versions of such softwares please tell me that. That way I can choose the software that suits me best.

I have two computers. Sometimes, I copy some MS Word files on a CD and try to access them on the other computer by inserting my CD. Much to my surprise, I am shown that the CD is blank whereas in fact the CD has MS Word files. What is the problem? How can I get rid of the same? Thank you.
