I have two computers. Sometimes, I copy some MS Word files on a CD and try to access them on the other computer by inserting my CD. Much to my surprise, I am shown that the CD is blank whereas in fact the CD has MS Word files. What is the problem? How can I get rid of the same? Thank you.

Thanks for your answer but one computer shows that there are files on CD. Secondly, if the CD is damaged, how can it work on the other computer?

Well I know it sounds a bit strange but check first if you placed the cd accordingly. If it's placed ok and it works fin eon the other computer you'll probably have to clean the lense on this cd-drive... If neither computer can read from it is possible the cd could be damaged.

If it plays on 1st and not on 2nd then prob points to second drive. Clean lens and try other cd roms.
