What is the best way to use it on to my laptop rather than buy another pack?

I completely disagree with the above 2 answers. I myself have done it innumerable times. U must have good Idea of system administration. Call a good Hardware professional, pay him the right amount and he will do it for u. May be there will be some problems with device drivers but that can always be solved.

OEM disks (provided by the computer manufacturer) are usually computer specific. In addition to the OS they usually contain drivers, etc. specific to the original computer. That means they may not work in any other computer, even one from the same company. Not to mention problems with the Windows Genuine Advantage validation scan that may not let you use the same OS on another computer.

Win XP will ONLY work on the computer it was installed on originally. You will need another copy of Win XP.
