I am using my laptop on a dial up connection when this happens...its frustrating...I can't check my email!!!! It just says "Please re-enter your password".

the virus is gone, but our computer is drastically slowed down, and we dont have too many things installed other than the necessities so that cant be it. here's what's wrong with it:
1)no matter where we try to open the internet explorer from, it takes five minutes or more to open up
2)when I click a link it doesnt work, it just freezes up the computer, so i have to go to properties, copy the link and paste it into the address bar
3)When I click a flash button nothing happens, and if i rite click and go to properties, it is obviously not going to show the link to the redirection but the link to the flash button.

what do we do???

Every NIGHT (only at night, not during the day), every few minutes, my AT&T Yahoo DSL modem blinks orange for about 30 seconds, during which time I have no internet. It comes back, but recurs a few minutes later. Any ideas?

This is what I have so far:


(connection, and database strings erased)

When I view the page in a browser, I change the url to .com/display.php?ID=7

The only thing that shows up is the Name:, Age:, Description:, not the actual values of the data in my table. Anyone know why?

1.Everytime I log on there are these ads and stuff that popup, telling me of certain software and other junk.

2. Somehow all the icons on my desktop turned blue

3. There are toolbars that appear on my takbar on the bottom of my screen

For some reason I seriously cannot figure it out. If you know some site where I can learn how to heavily parse XML files with PHP, then that would be good enough. This isn't just simple RSS or anything. This is very complex, multi-layered XML. I am using this for something that's just like Blogger and Xanga, where someone could make blogs. The XML is for themes in something like Blogger, where you would enter <$someVariableName$>, but mine is in completely XML. Some thing like
