the antivirous software will not load with message remove mcavee shedder What directory is norton looking because I have deleted all references to Mcavee on the system and registories

Uninstall ur current Antivirus software and download(If u don't have the cd of An Antivirus except for Macafee )
[ i recommend u not to use Macafee bcoz this antivirus software makes ur mechine slower and it's not reliable i have the experience since i was using it for 3 yrs and got really fedup on it]
Then install the Antivirus software and download the latest Yahoo Toolbar which mostly uses Norton Antivirus 2006,
(So better install Norton Antivirus and keep it upto date by enabling Liveupdate.)

If you have other security and if you are not satisfied with it and wanted to download free Norton Utility from the Yahoo- you can do it-First sign into Yahoo with your Yahoo ID;than go to help section and down load the new browser security ( Yahoo Tool Bar)Instead of deleting it send it into your recycle bin,if it is used by other pro gramme create a new one.
