You don't need to configure the mail servers for Hotmail in Outlook Express. It automatically does it.

Tools --> Accounts then press the Add button.

Enter your name as you would like it to appear when sending
Enter your Hotmail address
Select Hotmail as the provider
Select save password.
Done!

BTW all the answers above me are wrong. They didn't bother to read the question "I'm trying to configure Outlook Express to work with my Hotmail account"

I seem to remember reading that new Hotmail accounts would not be able to do that.
Older accounts can do it.
When you put hotmail.com as the email address, Outlook & Outlook Express put in the mail server automatically.
You can ususlly go to your ISP's mainpage, click HELP and read the FAQ's. It will tell you step by step how to setup your email.

Don't forget, Hotmail doesn't have to let Outlook access your mail. It's a pay service. Check with Hotmail about that.

Call the company.

If you have comcast, the incoming mail server is mail.comcast.net. The outgoing mail server is smtp.comcast.net. And it's POP3 server.
