I bought a eMachine T3506 in July. It seems great and I got a good deal on it at CompUSA. ($200 after a $200 rebate, which I received this week. I also bought addition 512 memory to install in it for $59. I wanted to wait until Vista comes out in January, because my old PC is about 5 years old. But, I could not resist the price and for $200, I figured I could not go wrong.

Whenever I use msn or yahoo messenger voice the person at the other end only hears a very loud 'static' noise. I have tried using another mic but the same thing happens. I have no problem hearing them.

What is the winamp plugin for YIM that shows what you're listening to? Like in chat rooms, it will say "Trashley is listening to Converge - concubine" or something whenever the song changes.

I wanted to discontue my AOL service and it took me over 3 hours on the phone to convinice the Rep. that I no longer wanted their service. He kept telling me to talk to a Service Rep., and would not let me stop my service. Their software took too much room on my computer and always went down when I was in the middle of something.

ALright, looking to install windows 98 then an upgrade for windows xp, have xp on the comp but it is corupt. I am trying to get the comp to boot from the cd drive but when i spam F2 or F10 at startup i get nothing and windows starts. Is there a BIOS prompt to get the computer to run from the CD drive on the next startup? Ty.

The directions that came with the router are saying that I need to hard wire the router and modem to a computer...then I will be able to get my access all over. But I only have a laptop...everytime I needed to get on the net I just hooked up where the modem is. I bought this router so I could be all over the house. Any suggestions?
