Yes, the speed and other information is printed on the CPU, but to see this you will have to remove the CPU heatsink. I would suggest downloading CPU-Z which will tell you all that you might want to know about your processor.

If you don't know it try going to Start, control panel then go to performance and maintainance for windows xp then click system. You'll get a list of stuff on your cumputer including the processor. Hope you find what you need!

Usually it will have the brand and operating frequency imprinted on it, but I suggest downloading a freeware clocking program, they will accurately measure the speed of your processor

simple just go to my computer then right click,a box will open then locate PROPERTIES,next cilck on it a new box will open ,in this box you'll see the name of the processor and the speed
