are there any good cleaning software, which finds errors ans clean it or problems, but it has to be free, what are other good protection program by microsoft has to be free,if it's good and free could be from another company

Help me to find a free software to capture still frames from video files. It should be as simple like single key stroke to capture from the movie. And automatically save the captured pictures to my working folder with automatic file naming. I do not want any demo version.

Everytime I log on to my computer a video add pops up from Popcorn.net telling me my 3 day trial has ended and the ONLY to quit receiving this notifier is to purchase a license or 30 day something for $29.95. It states that whoever downloaded it doesn't matter, the administrater of my computer is responsible for payment. I can't remove it from my programs - I've deleted temp files and cookies to no avail. Please help!

Ads for erection problems, diplomas, loans, prescriptions and others. They are from the same companies but, the names are different people. I get loads of them, constantly. The place to unsubscribe leads to nowhere. I haven't opened up any of them because I'd already tried when I first started getting them. What can I do to rid myself of them? Some days I get up to 100 or more.

the reason for me needing to do so is due to a workmate/idiot who said they could fix my pc when it had a virus on it, on its return (the idiot, you know who you are if your watching) decided to be clever (idiot) and install a blag copy of windows pro as oppossed to my geniune copy of windows xp (which he said he couldnt find in the box,hey idiot, tip the box upside down its in there (why is it not legal just to kill some people!) anyway having attempted to resolve the problem by loading my genuine xp there was a problem with "running programmes in other partions?" i now feel my only other option is to take my pc to a "computer shop"and have them restore it to its true former glory! hence why i would like to save files to disc.

I have been having alot of "lag" problems with my laptop. Lots of memory available, and not alot of programs running. I am specifically have game issues, where typing and playing seem to occur at an extremely slow rate. Have run a virus scan and removed viruses and adware that were on my computer, but the problem persists. My friend who has the same computer as I do just had a major meltdown with his computer for no reason and has had to reinstall his operating system twice now. I am beginning to worry that it is a problem with the computer not with viruses or programs at all. Any suggestions as to what it could be and what to do?

would like to know wats the diff btw a Cpu overheating n System overheating, am currently using athlon 1.2Ghz cpu, my temperature shown i was getting about 50 celcius(no beeping)frm my Cpu, while my System temp was getting 70 celcius(starts to beep),

I have a web site on the company's Intranet. The main page has some active links.

When someone clicks on the link, I would like him to be prompted to enter a user name and password, to be able to view the content.

The user name and password will be assigned to an admin account, and can be hardcoded in the ASP code.

How can I do this? I am using ASP coupled with VB scripting?
You can also suggest something in Java script.

My desktop pc runs on Windows XP OS. Sometime back got infected with spyware. So I used some anti-spyware: intially spydoctor, then ad-ware SE personal to remove them. Now system becomes more stable, but the cursor keeps going haywire! Navigate left, it goes right, and vice versa. Sometimes just runs around the desktop. It's very frustrating.
Can anyone help me? Tell me how to solve this problem please. (Hopefully i do not have to re-format)
