would like to know wats the diff btw a Cpu overheating n System overheating, am currently using athlon 1.2Ghz cpu, my temperature shown i was getting about 50 celcius(no beeping)frm my Cpu, while my System temp was getting 70 celcius(starts to beep),

i would like to know wat does System Overheating mean??

i am using abit va-10 mobo, haf taken out the fan n did some clean up b4, it beeps whenever my System show 70 degree celcius, my cpu usage shows 15% only..., fan is working properly. gettting an rpm of 5k++, can it b the paste, or mayb when i remove the fan frm the cpu, it didnt sit properly?
Ram is doin well .. i am now running dis desktop while typing dis Q..

Hi. The CPU fan removes heat from the chip but not from the box. Sounds like you need additional cooling fans for the case.

System means the whole box of your CPU which contains hard disk, RAM, mother board and all the peripherals. CPU in general means only the processor,

I don,t know mine has never overheated. Maybe you need to check that your cooling fans are working properly.

what is your Motherboard. i should know.
some Asus and Gigabytes has this problem
tell me the Manufacturer and also the Model
