I've come across some questions here that are in spanish, i dont know how it happens, but im most of the time intrigued because they are pretty good questions. Other spanish speaking people reply, but there's always a few other people who dont understand the language and just go to flame or insult. If you dont understand why do you even click on the questions? are you that racist that you cant take someone speak differently than you?? Why not instead of flaming and insulting, you go and open up your mind to other cultures and maybe even learn a language or 2, believe it opens up alot of oportunities in the job market. Why cant you get educated instead of feeling threaten when you see that someone else uses his brain more than you?

My boyfriend recently downloaded a software onto my computer the program is called popcorn I have since erased it from my control panel but it will not come off entirely it still pops up whenever I log in and there is a place on my control panel where there is still some form of it that will not come off. Is this a virus or is there another way to get rid of this garbage? P.S. I have norton on my computer and its not showing it as a virus.

I have dowwnloaded a few trial games from this site. I have played the free trials but don't like the games enough to want to buy them.

I have uninstalled the games from my PC but when I try to delete the set up file from my desktop e.g. HidExpTitanicSetup-dm I get an "error deleting file or folder message" saying that it is in use by another program or user.

There are no other users logged on and nothing showing as running in task manager. How can I get rid of it. It doesn't show in add/delete programs in Windows XP or in the start up menu.

It's got me baffled!! Can anyone help please?

Thanks for these answers. Already had Ad-aware but downloaded latest version to be sure and downloaded spybot search & destroy from the link. Installed both, scanned with both, fixed all errors with both. Unfortunately still got same problem!!! Any other ideas please

I am at school, on a wireless network that is run through the universtiy. My web browser works (obviously) but I cannot connect to AIM. It keeps telling me that it could not connect because the session timed out. I dont know whats going on here. I cant get a hold of tech support on campus because they are experiencing tons of students calling about problems in their dorms. Anyone have any suggestions?

When I turn on my PC, I get an error message that says that my primary drive (hard disk drive) is not found. Below that, it says to press F1 to continue or F2 to run the setup utility. I'm confused about all this and don't know what to do. Hopefully, somebody can help me out.

I needed to update my BIOS because my current ones would not support my new processor. Whilst updating my BIOS my pc crashed and has not worked ever since. I have a mac and up until now it was fine -- (I am on alt. computer)
When I turn it on the screen is blank except for a little "file folder" in the dead center of the screen -- It goes from a little man's face picture to a "?" symbol --- Nothing I do will make it go away and let me use the Mac --- Any suggestions?? I called my PC repair place and they want nothing to do with it . . . . . I gotta do my work!!!

Due to learning disabilities and some other factors, I have an IEP that allows me to use a laptop to type my notes instead of writing them by hand. School just started a week ago and things are going fairly well, except for assignments that I type out that are due during the same class period. Whenever I try looking for a portable printer that I could maybe store in a teacher's room or in the office, all I get are printers that only do 4x6 photos.

Is there such a thing as a small printer that will just print black and white documents, and that I could easily store in a classroom? If it could do color that would actually be quite nice for use during the summer, but right now all I need is a cheap, tiny printer.

Also, is there such a thing as a printer that's thin enough for me to actually put in my messenger bag and carry from class to class, or is that just wishful thinking on my part? Thanks!
