I have dowwnloaded a few trial games from this site. I have played the free trials but don't like the games enough to want to buy them.

I have uninstalled the games from my PC but when I try to delete the set up file from my desktop e.g. HidExpTitanicSetup-dm I get an "error deleting file or folder message" saying that it is in use by another program or user.

There are no other users logged on and nothing showing as running in task manager. How can I get rid of it. It doesn't show in add/delete programs in Windows XP or in the start up menu.

It's got me baffled!! Can anyone help please?

Thanks for the answers but I have managed to solve the problem by restoring my system to an earlier restore point.

It sounds to me like spyware. Since you say that isn't finding anything, your best bet is to start up in safe mode (press F8 while the Windows load screen is on and select Safe Mode) and try do delete them from there.

This may also be something that Ad-Aware isn't yet finding. I recommend having at least two anti-spyware programs on your computer at once, they won't conflict and will find different things. The ones I have are Ad-Aware (which you already have) and SpyBot, which you can get from http://www.download.com/

you can try this..when you PC boots up..just keep pressing F8..
so you will get many bootiing methods...just select
SAFE MODE...and try to delete it...
still havin same problem then....
select Only Command Prompt....(only DOS prompt)

so open dos prompt and delete it by DOS commands...
if you dont know DOS then learn commands only 3 will be needed..

ALL THE BEST...hope this info. will help you..
