my system win xp. after connecting the 256kbps broadband internet connection not able to open any application even another internet window

You've got a ton of spyware on your computer most likely. Considering you're having problems even getting a browser open when you connect, what you'll have to do is take your computer to a computer shop and have them do a spyware scan. That should take care of that.

If not, are you using a USB cable to hook up the broadband? If so, it could be an issue with your USB ports or your install of the drivers for the connection. If doing a spyware scan doesn't fix your problem, that's probably it, in which case, I would contact whoever made your computer so they can walk you through fixing that.

have you had a previous internet connection? If so then there may be some spyware updating itself on your connection in the background. Suggest running all virus and spyware scans and see if this helps to clear up the problem. Also so system specifications would help to see if there is possibly a system overload issue. Hope this helps

check for the virus in ur system ... run the antivirus , or go for the defragmentation ...

if you still face any problem, contact the customer care ...
