No... the Yahoo stuff stays. AOL will let you keep your email address for awhile.... but I don't know about the favorites.

e-mails from, let's say, Yahoo are not stored on your computer, they are on Yahoo's servers. This is why you have to log in, you are logging directly into their server to send and receive e-mails.
So binning your pc makes no difference at all!! Think about it, use your brain! If you go to an internet cafe you can check your Yahoo mail, right? Well you are not logging into your pc when you're doing that.
As for favourites, surely you can find these again and add them as favourites but if you do not want to do this then just write an e-mail with all the links to all the favourites and send it either another one of your e-mail addresses (if you have more than one) or just send it to your own Yahoo e-mail. Once you get your new pc, log into Yahoo read that mail nd you have ll the links, youwill have to open each one and add it as a favourite though.

It depends on whether or not you check your mail on a webpage or if you download your messages into outlook express. If you have outlook or outlook express set up with your internet account, then when you check your mail, it is downloaded to your computer. If you check it on yahoo's mail webpage, then it only will dissappear if you delete it.

you don't lose your yahoo files unless they are saved to your computer. if the files have to do with your yahoo account them it should be saved, thats part of your online profile, thats yahoo's responsibility.
