Normally this message occurs when the hard drive has died. First thing to check would be to open the caser and make sure all cables leading to the drive are plugged in and secure. If they are then the next thing would be to check the bios to see if there is a hard drive self test utility. Run this and see if it gives any recommendations. Other than that hard drive is probably toast and beyond recovery. Have had rare instances in this case where you can use ERD commander to recover some data after letting the drive cool a while or placing in the refrigerator for a while. Hope this helps

1. Unplug your Computer/Shut Off
2. Open your Computer Case
3. Unplug your HDD/IDE Cable wait for a few seconds
4. Plug again the IDE/HDD Cable
5. Turn on your computer
6. Press F2 to run the CMOS/BIOS Setup
7. Detect your Hard Disk Drive
Note: If there is no Hard Drive found try to Slave your HDD... if error occurs try to change a new HDD/IDE Cable.
8. Save and Exit BIOS
If there's no response with your HDD... try to contact your technical support...
Enjoy!

Run the F2 setup. This is taking you to the CMOS chip which all you have to do is let it open up and see if your Hard drive shows up and if it dosen't show that you have one, have it search for one and SAVE it and exit and the computer will reboot itself and that F1 and F2 shouldn't show up again.

Open your box. Turn off power before, disconnect power cord.
And see if two cables are connected to the hard disk properly.
Try to take out the cables and reinsert them, and see if they work.
If not, then you'd better call a hardware technician to have a look at it. But if you want to do it yourself, then take the hard disk out, and attach to some other working pc, as a slave disk, and see if it still works. Otherwise you may have to say goodbye to your hard disk.

This could happen if you have a disk in the A: drive. Check to make sure there is no disc in your floppy drive. If there is, take the disc out and try again. It should boot normally.

in the starting up, Doru.. you're retarded. A counter operations agent isn't an same ingredient because the adult males and gals you spot in the white blouse and black ties. they're the those that answer the phones and do the place of work artwork/delivery/ call record. keep music of our computers and ect. he's of direction in practise to be a CIA (the black ties) so bounce off it. Now to respond to your question... in case you boot for your MRI disc. U receives an decision for %. that is decision a million. then click a million again. this may run complete ahrdware scans on the laptop without making use of a equipped in diag that runs off somewhat of hardware. also in percentyou can run human being scans on human being products of hardware. yet another good device is once you spot MRI in the cdcontinual.. actual click it and hit locate. you are able to pass to diagnostics-webroot-equipment analyzer and then run on their laptop. it is going to provide information on their computing gadget as well as run a delicate test for virus'. in case you do an same ingredient and hit explor on the mri discs. you are able to pass to malware-corescanners- then open the middle scanner (run as admin) and then you'll run each and every of our scans in my opinion. it really is termed TFH. yet seem into all those folders once you're in there. it should be extremely functional. like the homestead windows fix it equipment and the total elimination equipment for those obdurate Anti-Virus' that dont prefer to uninstall *cough* norton *cough* i desire you develop right into a geak agent and not in any respect be afraid to ask questions.

Sounds like your harddrive has crashed. Which means you will need a new harddrive. The only other thing I can think of is the cable is bad.
