My boyfriend recently downloaded a software onto my computer the program is called popcorn I have since erased it from my control panel but it will not come off entirely it still pops up whenever I log in and there is a place on my control panel where there is still some form of it that will not come off. Is this a virus or is there another way to get rid of this garbage? P.S. I have norton on my computer and its not showing it as a virus.

Try running the programs inbuilt Uninstaller.
Also if it pops on startup, goto Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services, find the program and set it to Manual startup.

adaware asnd spybot should get it. go to downloads .com and search for those two prgs. They ae VERY trustworthy (I ues em all the time) and will NOT add extra junk to your system.
