My Palm conked out on me yesterday as I was making a note, and has reset itself to the point of needing to be reinitialized, like when it was new. Everything I had is gone, and since I hadn't done a HotSynch in a while, I won't be able to get back anything that's new since then. Is there any possibility that the data is still on the handheld and can be restored?

okay, here's the thing. i have a dell desktop that i bought in feb. of 2004. for a while it worked great!! for about the last few months, when i search on the internet and i have 2 or more windows opened up, my computer just shuts off and reboots. the site this happens most is on myspace.com. i don't know what to do. lately i am beginning to suspect a virus, but im not sure. any ideas on how to scan my computer for free to see if it has any viruses? any other suggestions on what to do?? thanks ahead of time!!

six pc's later and still confused. Can't click drag files -word.docs-together, makes a big poo when copied and pasted [pasted alright!]- so good people, geniuses- HOW do I merge- sequentially my mega novel docs into one combined word.doc? Above on my screen, I had where you could edit and all that stuff, now all there is /yahoo plain with a house for home, printer, page & tools that all on the right side, on the left is two stars for favorites and above that two arrows for foward & back. I need the copy/paste and all that stuff back..............help!

Help! What do I do. My computer will no go in to screen saver mode. I have the standard windows screen saver selected to start after 5 minutes. Then the Monitor to turn off after 10 minutes. I left around 9 am yesterday and returned at 5 pm and the screen saver still did not turn on. IT has been doing this over a week. I have tried restarting... picking a different screen saver... and changing the times on it.. nothing works :( HELP

I have Spybot and Ad-Aware se. Both scans do not show me limewire as adware. But Yahoo anti-spy does. Wats the matter? Is limewire an adware?

i have windows XP.I saved afew restore points before and restored my software even few times while i was creating restore point my computer got struck later on all the restore points i ever saved was deleted due to the lack of storage space i saw in Help&Support .Can i retrieve those lost restore points by running the computer in safe mode or freeing up my disk space or should i do something else?plz help.thank u a lot
