It should be on a white sticker inside the casing or under the battery. Or type *#06# or *#0000# in and it'll come up

If you are in the UK then you can type *#06#. It should also be on the box that the phone came in, plus you will find it located on a sticker inside the phone, usually near the battery compartment.
All of these resoultions are universal and will work across all networks, makes and models of phone, regardless of the age of the phone.
