Help! What do I do. My computer will no go in to screen saver mode. I have the standard windows screen saver selected to start after 5 minutes. Then the Monitor to turn off after 10 minutes. I left around 9 am yesterday and returned at 5 pm and the screen saver still did not turn on. IT has been doing this over a week. I have tried restarting... picking a different screen saver... and changing the times on it.. nothing works :( HELP

try doing a system restore to before this happened. then redo the screen saver mode. system restore on mine is in my "all programs, then accessories, then system tools then system restore" this has helped me in the past... not for this but for other probs. hope it helps

How do you expect the screen saver to work if you have the monitor set to shut off at a certain time of course it won't work when you do this mine comes on after 1 min.Screen Saver Mode on within 5mins then Monitor off after 10 mins no joke it won't come on change your settings silly

Go to display properties by click on your desktop and click on properties, click on screen saver tab, click on power button, click on turn off monitor, on drop down window, select never.
