I have a problem or virus with my computer. I can not get past the microsoft startup to get to my desktop. It jkust goes black after that. I tried starting {F8} to get to safemode, it lets you pick your option then it goes to some weird error message. I tried even rebooting my operating system but i can't get past the black screen . Any suggestions?

i'm having problems with my internet, on the laptop which has the internal network card, and i'm in my house, it says i'm connected, its sending packets but not recieving any, and the signal strength is good and its connected at 54mbps.. As well it says network cable unplugged'.... How can i make my connection work, i want to recieve packets so i can surf the net. I am currently using my desktop PC to ask for help

I've been receiving a phone call for some time from a "Private Number" the person never speaks into the phone and I'm afraid it might be a stalker or something. I cant *69 the number, does anyone know how I can track the number and at least know where the person ios calling from.

I'm talking about the sig boxes that people will put a sig tag in there, icons, links to their groups, or links to myspace... that kind of stuff. I'm not talking about how to make a sig tag or something to do with WebTV, which is the only results I get when I do a search on the net. If you don't want to go into a big detailed how-to, atleast let me know what program to use. Thanks~~

This is driving me mad people, please help, I have installed both Lan cards and drivers etc, it just will not recognise the cable, I've tried both straight and crossed cables (2 of each) and ran the network setup disc countless times.(both pc's running xp) and device mgrs both say they are working ok,
