where is my internet?

i'm having problems with my internet, on the laptop and i'm in my house, it says i'm connected, its sending packets but not recieving any, and the signal strength is good and its connected at 54mbps.. How can i make my connection work, i want to recieve packets so i can surf the net. I am currently using my desktop PC to ask for help

Reboot - that fixes almost everything.

if rebooting doesn't help contact your isp
