I've been receiving a phone call for some time from a "Private Number" the person never speaks into the phone and I'm afraid it might be a stalker or something. I cant *69 the number, does anyone know how I can track the number and at least know where the person ios calling from.

You can trace it even if it's blocked by hanging up, then pick up right away BEFORE another call comes in and pressing *57 - there is a charge for this though, but after two traces to the same number the phone co. will send you all the info you need to start a case against the caller.

The only way I know of is to contact the police about harassing phone calls and the will trace the number for you, however I believe you will have to press charges. Make sure it isn't someone you know playing games

Your phone company will tell you to keep exact dates and times of the caller for about a week,, just play along, keep your dates and times exactly and then call phone company to put on a trace.

try, if you have this option with caller id, going through the list of people who've called and hit dial. I don't know if many phones have this option, I'm afraid. Oh, and if you get really scared, you might want to call the police or something and see if they can find out who it is.

You should contact your phone company and report harassment (tell them what you told us).

They can track it down and take actions needed.

It's probably just a friend playing a prank on you, my friends do it to me all the time and I get so mad they wait a month to tell me it was them
