I tried installing the software and it says (msgme.exe) or something like that is open and that program needs to be shut down so I close that program, windows messenger I think is what it is, and I also turn of my virus software too, because it complains about that, yet it still keeps popping up unable to program because windows messenger is on??? I don't even know what windows messenger is or what it does??? Anybody ever had this problem??? Please help!!! Thanks

I pu my sims cd in my computer- the menu comes up and I select the resolution- the intro comes on- then the loading screen, then it closes and dissapears.

I've tried unstalling and reinstalling and even restarting my computer- I don't get it- I just bought this computer last month, so .. I don't think it's that- what's up?

I am planning on buying a new laptop soon and would like to know what the difference is between the different processors. I don't need to know about all of them...maybe just the more popular ones. Which one would be recommended for a college student? I mostly use my laptop for word processing, surfing the internet, chatting, watching DVDs, etc.

Also, what do the processor speeds mean? What speed would be sufficient for a college student?

Hey Guys ...are you having a lovely evening? I hope so...as for myself, I'm having a little prob. can anyone tell me how to set or configure my browser to open in a new window when I click on another link? for example. everytime I click on a link, i lose my place and have to use the back arrow to get back on to my original page. when i first got my laptop and desktop, it seems to run faster then it is now. i also notice that right after i had my bro reformat my computer, it seems to run much faster then it is now. when i surf the net it open faster and quicker. it's been over a year since i had my brother reformat my computer. thanks in advance for your helpful answers.
