no, that's so you know about removing ads in programs (i.e. the free divx player). Spybot will remove the spyware out of the player causing you to be in breach of contract per the licensing agreement. They are covering themselves by noticing you that you may be willfully breaking an agreement between you and the software owners when you installed the original program.

Nope used it for five years and it's been great unlike lots of other so called anti-spyware softwares like stopsign and anything advertised by popups. I also like AVG Anti-virus and SuperAntiSpyware. All these are freeware unlike Norton.
