I want to have my personal website like www.myname.com.... I heard that we can host a website for free but I dont find any. Can anybody help me out??

You can have a subdomain like www.MYNAME.bravehost.com, where they can offer a redirect like: http://clik.to/MYNAME.
It's free and really a good one. They have a lot of features to put in to your website like forums, chat rooms, etc. What I like best is the FTP, where I can use my own ftp program.
Freewebservices, on the other hand, offers a 100MB spaces and later they will give a free 1GB space! What I like here is the large free space they offer and your own FTP program.

You wont find a site that will let you have a free domain, if it says its free, you probably have to buy a hosting site with it too. A domain is extremely cheap, like less than $5 a year or something like that.

no you cant because .com is normally chargeable if not you will see alot of .com domains being booked. But there are some website who gives you a free webspace to create your own website. I happen to know geocities.com provides such tools, go try it out. Sometimes your internet provider does also provide webspace and web editing tools for you to create your own website.
