Labtec Spin 75. I dont see the power light on and of course Ive checked teh plug and I only hear sound from one speaker, can anyone help me with this problem???!!

i'm running xp with sp2 on a pretty decent computer..when i browse through some video files on my h: drive, often times happens when i scroll with the mouse, or when i click on a file, i will get a message saying windows explorer must close, do i wanna report blah blah..so i close it..i can then re open it and browse some more, but usually resulting in the same thing..recently, drwatson postmordem debugger has been crashing too, and windows explorer has been crashing in different places then just h, but usually only happens when i'm opening a folder that contains a video file, clicking a video file, scrolling..
i think it also happend a couple times when i tried to get the properties of a file..probably video..
anyway, it doesnt happen that often, i can do everything normally..a lot of videos work and dont give me a problem, even the ones that have crashed before, i can still play them right after..
hope someone can help me out there..

When it start the HP the screeen goes total black after the Xp splash screen. The only other mode work is the Safe mode and the VGA mode. Whn in VGA mode when I change to higher resolution or colour the screen turn blank like the startup. I suspect some display problem. Any idea? Please, professional technical suggestion only. The machin is past its warranty/service contract date. There are no virus and the display card is neither Intel, ATI, nor nVidia.
