I Need to send a folder not just one file from one of my computers to another. Is it possible to do this or can you only send files?

Zip the file first

Great question. You can use just about any compression program such as "Win Zip" to first compress the entire folder at one time. Once that's done, you can then send it the whole thing as a "file." Remember, some programs will not send the .exe file which actually "runs" or "starts" the program (keeping people from copying or giving aways copies to friends.) You have to ZIP the entire folder in one step by right-clicking on it (assuming you have Windows XP). Then, send the resulting ZIP file using MSN or whatever.

in any type of file transferring program the key word is FILE, so u can only transfer files not folders,so use an archiving program like winzip or winrar to convert the folder into a single file i.e. archive and then send it
