its dependant on which mother board you have, several diffrent companys produced and distributed diffrent motherboards, you can genearally find out by cracking the case open and looking at the powersupply, if you cant tell from looking at it, i recomend finding the mother board producer and model number and simply looking it up online btw the model number should pull all the info you need its the big number in either the middle or on the lower of the motherboard usually starting with letters and then going to numbers, but not always but it is always the biggest of the numbers on the board also if it is a name brand computer you should be able to find out buy putting in the name and computer model in yahoo or google

AT and ATX are motherboard form specifications, for a psu (power supply unit) you just need to make sure it will have enough juice to power your whole system, so the bigger the better but id recommend 400w mininum for any comp even if it might seem excessive.

According to this article, Intel invented ATX motherboards in 1995. So, if your computer was built before that, it is probably an AT form factor.
